This is Vekoslav, the God of Madness. In the world he’s based in he as one of the creators- one of the kings of heaven- Paradisia. Vekoslav rules with his brother, who is the god of clarity and knowledge, Vekky is the older of the two. Vekoslav is also seen as the father of monsters- most of his creations being based in colder colors- purples and blues, with the occasional outliers.

In the beginning when he and his brother made the other gods, then humanity and monsters- Vekoslav gained a quick disdain for humanity due to their poor treatment of, what he sees as, his children. At first Vekoslav simply took away humanity’s ability to use magic- resulting in a quarrel with the god of magic itself, a ramble for another time- but it wasn’t enough.

When things got rough- almost to the point that certain types of monsters were on the brink of a wipe out- he acted. Vekoslav tried to cover the world in a maddening fog. That should a human inhale, it would drive them crazy, to the point of harming themselves- until eventual either bleed out or suffocation. Monsters- however, being made of madness, wouldn’t be effected.

However- Vekoslav’s brother stepped in to put a halt to it, and in response, found a way to lift large sections of land into the sky, resulting in floating islands. A massive fight broke out between Vekoslav and his brother. during the fight Vekoslav lost his sight, and his brother chained him down to the soil of the near barren earth. keeping him below the islands, in the fog.
