Our tromboncino looks like it's giving up on growing this fruit further so it's going to be cooked up with some tomatoes and garlic on bread maker bread like a kind of English style bruschetta. I was hoping it would grow big and develop a hard skin for winter consumption but the plant had other plans in mind. Bit disappointed with my #parsnips. They are all a bit mangled. The cold weather turns starch into sugar creating that sweet flavour. I thought after the frost the other day I would see what they tasted like.
