'Allotments'. David Inshaw. 1987.
Almost time to find out what the town council considers "not in very good condition" and requiring "quite a bit of work" when it comes to allotments. Like, is it going to have some obvious beds that have got some grass and nettles to dig out? Or is it going to look like the castle in Sleeping Beauty?
They've said that there are several plots available, so hopefully I'll be able to go for the one that's least bad out of a selection.
I've been on a waiting list for a year, so it's tempting to just say yes, but I do want to see what I'm letting myself in for first.
