This week I am going to share a little more insight about my own eating habits. Although many might not agree with this, one of my favorite foods is actually a salad. However, I am not talking about just any salad, I mean a salad loaded with all different kinds of vegetables. Even if you are not the biggest vegetable lover, it is easy to customize as you can pretty much make up your own ingredients to your liking. Some of my favorite things to throw in a salad might be peppers, avocados, cucumbers, tomato, pumpkin/sunflower seeds, crutons, radishes, and other toppings as well. Additionally, I love making my own dressing as it truly just brings the flavor together perfectly. For instance, I will mix a little bit of balsamic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and sometimes maybe even a little lemon to create the perfect dressing. Next time you are trying to think of what to snack on, try a salad. They leave you feeling full but not overly full and are easy to share with a friend!
