Indulge in the perfect combination of sweet and salty with these vegan salted chocolate chip cookies, featuring gooey caramel for an extra decadent treat. They're easy to make and perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings while being completely cruelty-free!
Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup vegan butter, softened. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup dairy-free caramel sauce. 1/4 cup dairy-free chocolate chips. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. Sea salt flakes, for topping.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet. Melt the vegan butter and mix it with the brown sugar and granulated sugar in a bowl until the mixture is smooth. Then add the caramel sauce and vanilla extract and mix well. Sift the flour, baking soda, and salt together in a different bowl. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients one at a time until a dough forms. Add the dairy-free chocolate chips and mix them in until they are spread out evenly in the dough. Use a spoon or cookie scoop to put dough on the baking sheet that has been prepared, leaving space between each cookie. Spread out each cookie a little with the back of a spoon, and then add a few sea salt flakes on top of each one. Put it in an oven that is already hot and bake it for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way.
