If Aesin was honest with herself, their first meeting was a bit weird. Or a better word to descrive it was: suspicious. But then again, the smaller woman didn’t look exactly like a threat. First of all, because she was just a human. Second of all, she didn’t carry any deadly weapons. That day, Aesin had already felt an intruding presence on the perimeter, the unfamiliar smell of a stranger slowly coming closer towards the Nightbane headquarters. Before whoever it was who was disturbing her ‘morning’ - the time she woke up from a nap, around evening - could reach the door, Aesin already made her way to the heavy front door, pushing it open. The low sound of leaves rustling on the ground gave away the position of the stranger, who was hiding behind a tree. “I can see you.”, was what Aesin had called out, even though she couldn’t directly see through the tree, but she knew the human was there anyways. Which made the blonde girl come forth, rambling about being the owner of a ... Log? Block? Blog? So called Combing Crime. And that she was interested in the death of Go Jeon. It wasn’t the first time someone had come up to the Nightbane to ask about that matter. After all, they were a guild against vampires, which didn’t paint them as very innocent after all. 

“I don’t think I have,” she says immediately, squinting her eyes slightly as she looks at the other female. The doubts already creeping in her head as she questions herself, did that ever happened before? She doesn’t have the answer, her memories don’t bring anything in particular that she could consider as discrimination. Is fear some sort of discrimination? Because fear is the only thing she could notice when people found out about her nature. “I really can’t tell if that has ever happened... Maybe in a distant past, when I wasn’t good at disguising. I’m not sure, I might have never noticed.”

😖 : Is there anything that would deter your muse from interacting with another person? Or anything that would make them generally uncomfortable interacting with someone?

Iseul isn’t a big fan of rude individuals. The sort of people that behave poorly, disrespect others, and so on. Whatever interest he may have in someone, there’s a damn good chance that if he catches them behaving in a disrespectful manner, that’s it for them. How they treat other people is important, and you can bet that Iseul is watching. And how they treat animals is equally as important. As much as Iseul sees of people -- humans and vampires -- he’s actually more of a fan of animals. They’re less complicated. No ulterior agenda, no sketchy secrets. 

All of that makes Iseul wary of interacting with someone, or just generally uncomfortable. But something else, something that might not stop him, but will make him uncomfortable and make him more prone to avoiding someone, is the way they behave in front of others. Their confidence, sincerity, humility. Attitude. It’s one thing to be proud, but another entirely to treat others like they’re beneath you, or like you’re leagues better than they are. That sort of behavior would be more than a little off putting, and enough to push Iseul to a safe distance
