Sign Vs House Vargottama

Many Indian astrologers know how to count divisionals manually, so they probably have some technical theories in that department. I use an astrology software myself, and thank god because detailed calculations are not my strong suit, I’m more of a spiritual researcher and healer than a mathematician. 

Technically houses relate to your ascendant. So for bhava vargottama to occur, your signs and ascendant would have to move symmetrically, enough to give the same house result. 

I’m gonna give you my example. I’m a Libra Lagna in D1 and an Aries Lagna in D9. Technically I have Venus bhava vargottama, since it’s in the 3rd house in both divisional charts. However, since the ascendants are in opposite signs, for Venus to stay in the same house, Venus must be in opposite signs too (Sag in D1 and Gem in D9). 

At the same time, I also have Cancer Moon and Mars sign vargottama in both D1 and D9, however here it’s in opposite houses, because of the opposite ascendant. 

From what I’ve witnessed in Vedic Astrology groups and communities I belong to, bhava vargottama occurs more rarely, statistically, while sign vargottama is more common. So naturally, if something is more unique, more rarely occurring, harder to come by, it will be more powerful. I can tell you from experience, with Venus in the 3rd, my capacity to make efforts for people I care about is very strong and I don’t give up on people who are important to me. So any bhava vargottama will be something you don’t see every day. 

(These observations are subject to change with other placements and aspects in your chart, take whatever that resonates! Your whole chart plays a role, so don't conclude anything with a single placement and these are based on sidereal, whole sign system ❤️)

1. If you have a stellium in gemini or virgo OR undergoing mahadasha of planets present in gemini or virgo - Keep a close eye on debts, it's better to avoid getting huge sums as debt in this phase. If you have virgo venus along with this, avoid taking jewel loans as jewels can go out of your hand in some cases because of repayment inability and other related financial issues.💎💎

2. Mars-rahu or saturn-rahu close conjunction in trikona houses- This can tempt the person to be unfair for their self interests, they could have this 'Everyone does it, so why shouldn't I' kind of thinking at one point. This can especially happen to gemini, virgo, aries, scorpio risings. This doesn't mean any major crimes, it can be like taking bribe at workplace. They'll realize their mistakes sooner and come out of it if jupiter aspects these placements or if they have a strong jupiter and won't get caught. Other beneficial planet aspects and placements can help in ignoring that thought but the mars-rahu or saturn-rahu can bring up that temptation sometimes regardless, it's on the other placements whether the person acts on it or not🫶🏻🫶🏻

3. Most karmic bonds have adjacent zodiac sign pairings like aries-taurus, leo-virgo. They learn how different they're from each other, never finding a common ground, one partner is always more hurt when the other becomes ignorant/distant. They might even choose to stay together because of various reasons but can end up growing apart emotionally.🫂🫂

4. Revati-Ashwini pairing -- It seems magical and dreamy but if it doesn't end well, it can be a very tragic heartbreak, not a mutual one. As revati is the end and Ashwini is the beginning, their pairing can be very transformative and feel karmic in nature, like it was a part of your life that made you realize too many things you've never even thought about once. Healing takes a lot of time but there's a glow up phase for sure. 😩✨

5. Award for 'Who never learns' probably goes to moon and jupiter nakshatra people when it comes to helping others. They don't learn from their past experiences, they are wise enough to differentiate between the intentions of people but they still choose to help if they are in a place to do so even when the other person has wronged them. They could think that God would be the judge of their wrongdoing and we will just help if we can because it's wrong to deliberately avoid a person in need, they've such morals and magnanimity that other people can misuse it. Also they've a hard time saying NO. I've noticed this especially in Rohini and Vishaka natives, rank 1 for vishaka natives tho imo lol. 🥺💗

6. If you've a stellium especially if malefic planets (Saturn/Mars/rahu ketu) are involved, look at the body parts the specific sign corresponds to and take care of your health in that area. Ex. Aries stellium could get frequent headaches or feel like heavy weight is resting on their head, eye irritations. Taurus stellium can have throat issues, like constant mucus accumulation in the throat or voice hurting soon if they're speaking aloud. Look for easy home remedies or management for these, like head massages from the root of the hair can be soothing for aries stellium and drinking herbal/hot water can be good for Taurus stellium etc. 🤗🙌🏻

7. If you're undergoing Saturn MD or AD, it's a reminder to exercise or involve in any kind of physical activity like dancing, sports or anything on a daily basis, especially for capricorn, aquarius, leo, cancer and pisces risings. Your health can greatly be influenced by how physically active and fit you are in this time, being lazy will be the biggest enemy because as we all know, saturn wants you to be on the run always. Contradictorily, you might feel lazy and disinterested in this phase because of the saturn influence but remember to break that pattern for your own well being. 🏋🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️

8. 10. Luminaries in 4H people can inherit properties that are a part of legacy. As I'm in the process of doing the career insights game, I thought I would post about this, how to find out whether a business will be favorable to u and impacts of some placements in business.😁

Primarily, if 6H or it's lord is stronger than 10H, it's recommended to go for a job. If 10H is stronger than 6H, business can be more favorable.⚡⚡

If you have 10H stellium, it doesn't mean you should absolutely pursue business, the planet interactions have to be considered. No matter whether it is just 3 planets or 5 planets in 10H, all the planets being separated by degrees is favorable (ie.) They should not be conjunct with others within 5 degrees. If it's a conjunction between benefic planets, it is favorable but not the same in case of malefic conjunctions.😃😃

Mercury is related to trading which was the primary form of business, so having a strong mercury is essential for having a good business, establishing communication and sharp intellect to run it. Mars is the driving force, determination, courage and leadership needed to own business, so that's a factor too along with Saturn, having strong saturn is a potential indicator of becoming a business tycoon and influencing masses. These three planets influence a lot in case of owning a business, other planets support and aspects can decide which field is ur business in.💃💃

8H lord should not be debilitated and having an empty 8H is better for own startups as it can indicate sudden losses. 8H Jupiter is a mixed placement, it can bring in unexpected wealth too but usually Jupiter does more good to the houses he aspects than the house he sits in. So the sign of 8H Jupiter can be considered here, exalted sign cancer is still a water sign and moon ruler, hence the result will be unexpected gains and unexpected losses, going like an up and down graph. If 2H lord is stronger in this case, you can be good in managing finances and can reduce this unexpected ups and downs occurrence.😌😌

2H lord in Venus ruled stars is a mixed placement likewise, where you have a stable source of income, maybe even more than what u expected but the tendency to impulsively spend can be present as venus ruled stars are present in fire signs.😶😶

2H lord in water signs or in Rohini means you change your main source of income frequently. You can have multiple sources of income if mercury is conjunct with 2H lord or 2H lord in mercury ruled star.😊😊

Having mars/saturn in 6H helps in winning over enemies. 6H lord in Mars ruled stars can also apply to an extent. These placements lets you win contracts easily if your business involves such elements especially if Jupiter is aspecting 6H or 7H as 7H literally means interpersonal relations and contracts for business. This also comes to the point that having malefic influence in 7H can be a hindrance for business.🙂🙂

Rahu in Venus ruled stars or in Taurus/Libra, especially in 3H can give a knack for pleasant talking, cunningly interactive, where the person knows what to say and when to say something, influencing and changing minds of people with their words. This can be an advantage if ur business involves lots of talking and mingling with people.😉😉

Sun dominants can have the urge to be their own boss and thus want to do business, if other placements support, they can get really famous and influential in their field. Rahu and Ketu bhavottama is not that much auspicious in this 1st-7th axis as the afflicted planets/shadow planets are getting double the power and thus enhances the not-so-ideal characteristics in the individual. Bhavottama is less powerful when compared with vargottama planets.

If a person has 1st-7th Rahu-Ketu axis and its either vargottama or bhavottama, it denotes that their materialistic desires or detachment issues in partnerships are more heightened than people who have it only in their D1 chart. It is advisable to find a partner who understands their thought process, dreams and priorities when it comes to marriage making.

During their planetary period, the native may have exaggerated desires and likes to be create a very popular self image which can be deceiving at times, they may ignore or do not focus much in commitments like marriage and can grow disinterested or detached with people around them, especially their partner. (If Rahu in 1st and Ketu in 7th).

During their planetary period, the native may feel less confident in themselves and can become very anti-social. They can be more prone to multiple love affairs but lacking commitment or facing many heartbreaks. (If Ketu in 1st and Rahu in 7th).
