I have to say. I kind of hate the whole Playersexual thing. I know a lot of people say that Karlach is for the lesbians. But I do read Shadowheart as way more a lesbian as I do Karlach. I have like zero idea what the reason for that is because I myself am way more like Karlach and very very gay but still. Idk.

I actually made some posts about Shadowheart being the most relatable as a lesbian character as well.
Here's a character who has had her boundaries, sexual and otherwise, broken time and time again. They stripped her of her memories and her whole sense of self.
When you meet her it is the first time she has the chance to get to know who she is, and what she wants.
Making her playersexual seems kinda... odd. They want to play it like she finds herself and her boundaries again and stuff, but in the end does she really? Why, after finally having things, having someone for herself would she out of all people be open to a threesome? Or to Tav sleeping with someone else? It feels like abuse on the writers' part, sorry.
And for her to be lesbian would just make sense, because her story mirrors our journey in a lot of ways. It is, in its essence a coming out story.
Many people believe that coming out is about admitting to others who you are, but in truth it's more about realising that you are someone at all, and that you have the right to be someone.
Oooh, but Shadowheart does mention them having missions at the noble houses (or I've read to many fan fics and it just became my HC).
So imagine young adult Serena being at one of the patriar parties. And an older Shadowheart being on a mission there for Shar. And them having a short but kinda sweet interaction at the 'bar' or whatever.
Serena stumbling over herself. Shadowheart, despite being Sharran (we all know she has a soft spot and suffers greatly under the Sharran doctrine), finding this young human noble (barely) woman sweet and endearing. And sharing a short conversation with her before going off on her mission to find whatever target she's been set on.
It could work, I mean.... Sharran!Shad is not cold hearted. Not even close (As Arnell would say).

Serena sent as an emissary for the failing Tavyndír house, largely shunned out of high society by this point. She feels the pressure the patriar families around her are putting on her for a marriage of convenience.
If they met, even for a brief period….with Serena stumbling over herself in her nerves, in front of such a beauty? Shadowheart older, a little more collected, and just…amused? Endeared? She forgets her mission for a moment.
Shadowheart and Serena mutually bonding over how dreadful the crowd is? Shadowheart (perhaps masked??) giving the beautiful young noble a dance- just a few minutes of genuine romance, unfettered by false ideals of marriage or politics.
ITS SO ROMANTIC
…then Shadowheart is whisked away by her fellow Sharrans and she murders a man…but yknow, semantics

Ich wollte dich auch nicht abhalten! Will nur gut überlegt sein. Und ich bin auch nur Erzieherin geworden weil ich keinen guten NC hatte im Abi... Die Wartesemester hätten genauso lange gedauert wie einfach die Ausbildung zu machen.
Man muss schon ein bisschen verrückt sein, um in einem sozialen Beruf zu arbeiten. Ansonsten wäre ich wohl auch für Sozialwissenschaften angenommen worden (bei einem NC von knapp 1,4 auch kein Wunder), aber ich bin dann doch eher praktisch veranlagt und möchte in Projekten arbeiten.
Ich habe auch schon gesagt, dass ich es nicht ausschließen würde später mal beim Jugendamt zu arbeiten und wenn man das jemandem sagt wird man meist angeschaut als hätte man den Verstand verloren xD
Ich habe bisher schon vieles gemacht, von Krankenschwester über Heilerziehungspflege, aber so langsam komme ich da an, wo ich immer hin wollte :)

Ich mache gerade meine Fachhochschulreife im Bereich Sozialpädagogik (zweiter Bildungsweg^^) und studiere hoffentlich ab nächstem Jahr Soziale Arbeit (entweder auf Deutsch oder Englisch, mal schauen)!
