Stop throwing money away! 💸
Those tiny glowing lights on your kitchen counter are silently drinking power all night long. This vampire power draw can add up to 10% to your monthly bill!
I went on a hunt through my kitchen and garage in Jashore to find the worst offenders. From my digital stand mixer to the microwave clock, I was shocked at the waste. The good news? It is so easy to fix. Just pull the plug or use a smart power strip to slay those energy vampires! 🧛♂️⚡️
Check out my latest guide on Home Pick Guide to see how I cut my bill down.

Vampire Power
Today, I read about Vampire Power. Vampire Power is when you're losing power to systems on standby. When systems are on "standby" it doesn't mean they're off, it means they're ready to start at any time. They're constantly running. Some of these devices include microwaves, laptops, and many others. "Some devices use as much energy off as they do on- certain tv's and stereo systems expend up to 70-80 percent of their power when "off." Which leads to: "20 percent of American's monthly power bills go toward Vampire Power." This is a serious problem in America because Vampire Power is taking lots of energy that could be used for many other more useful things. Power consumption is already a huge problem in the United States and the world.
The way to stop Vampire Power is being more conscious that Vampire Power exists. Choose more energy-efficient models and when you're not using a device, unplug it! The government and private companies are starting to be aware of this very real problem. "The U.S Department of Energy wants to instate manufacturing standards requiring products to be engineered so that they do not draw energy - or at least not as much - when they're not in use." and in private companies, "a company called Power Integrations that offers electronics manufactures a technical quick fix in the form of a chip that can be built into products to reduce standby power drainage by 75 - 80 percent." This shows that the U.S is trying to make an effort to stop Vampire Power. However, the first step to end Vampire Power is you. Simply, when you're not using a device, unplug it.
Can you back follow me honey? Please :)
I would, but I don't really like some of the things you post. Sorry. :/
