Hey Aunty, I've been playing around 50hrs on Widow now, and I am sometimes really good, but sometimes I don't seem to hit anything. How did you practice Widow? Did you make custom games? Any tips would be welcome!
Yeah, I did 30 minute skirmishes with 6 Ana bots on the red team and no headshots (for them). They canât hurt you (because Ana doesnât headshot) but you can get practice sniping them from different directions and different perches. They also duck and weave a bit so itâs good practice.Â
Once youâre better, use Lucios. They can and will kill you, but that will teach you to be faster and more accurate.Â
I also rather enjoy Widow skirmishes with real people; I collected a few fellow Widow mains on my travels (we bond over everyoneâs shared hatred of us), and you have a FFA with other Widows (or just a custom with teams).Â
Inconsistency is still an issue I have. Itâs an issue with a lot of non-pros. Sometimes Iâm fucking AMAZING and everyone on the red team cowers terrified around corners, and sometimes MERCY fucking kills me before I can kill her. Practice makes consistency easier, but itâs still one of those things.Â

Widow is a hero you quickly lose the skill at if you donât play her often, so donât let it go too long without playing her or all your hard work may go to waste!
