The next chapter is almost up, I just need to do some grammar checks first. And yes, I plan on finishing the fic, I’m just very slow as I’m writing it on my phone when I have time here and there. (And yes, I saw your comment! Thank you so much for commenting! It made my day ^^)

I think my favourite thing about writing is making people feel. When people tell me they were moved or torn or absolutely hate and/or love me I feel like I have done something right. Reading is, at least for me, escape from reality and I want to be able to immerse myself in the story, to live with the characters and if I’m able, even a little bit, offer that to other people I’m happy.

Hi, nonnie! I’m glad you’ve enjoyed my fic!

She’s not outrageously older than Mitsunari (at least in my opinion, both of them are consenting adults). Hideyoshi was more shocked that she’s older than him than about her actual age and he realised he’s been rude to her because you’re supposed to talk more respectfully to people who are older than you. So his shock had more to do about his own behaviour than her age.

She, on the other hand, has known Mitsunari for a long time, since he was a child. So obviously, she has some doubts if it’s okay for her to be romantically involved with someone like that even though they met for the first time in real life when he was an adult and she had no intention to start a relationship with him. And of course, she thinks about the social consequences of a relationship with a man younger than her. Relationships like that are not always viewed favourably, she’s afraid it might affect Mitsunari negatively, that others would not approve of their relationship or make fun of it (we’ve all heard of cougars -.-).

I’m so sorry you have to deal with that. No parent should belittle and be mean to their children. It’s hard when your parent(s) aren’t nice people but still you have to be in touch with them, even if only to avoid further drama.

I’m doing well! Just busy with work and unpacking (why do we have so many books??? and other stuff???). I hope soon I’ll have more time to do some tumblring and writing, I’ve missed so much ;-;

Fruit asks

lemon: do you have any pets? what are their names? I have two cats named Charm and Nightmare. They have their own Instagram where I occasionally post pictures ^^

strawberry: favorite desserts? Anything with chocolate. Chocolate is an entire food group in my diet.

grape: if you could take a vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go? I’d love to go to Japan or New Zealand. But I wouldn’t mind a trip around the world either, I want to see lots of different places.

tangelo: if you could be any mythical creature, which would you be? I’d kinda want to be a bog witch or something. Or maybe a dragon. Something where I can curse people if they come to my house uninvited.

star fruit: favorite sea creature? In case you hadn’t already realised, I’m a massive nerd. I have tons of favourite sea creatures but at the moment my favourite one is Joruna Parva sea slug aka “Sea Bunny”. Just look at them, they are so cute! @liljarokka
