You didn’t want to have a normal life again. You couldn’t focus on anything except for her. You walked around the grocery store for hours, places you didn’t want to be.

You had one friend who stayed persistent. You could tell she was trying to disentangle Natasha from your mind. You hated it. You wanted Natasha to stay in there forever. You knew she would.

Your friend dragged you to a nightclub in the end. Somewhere you could forget yourself and try your best to forget Natasha too.

If you were honest, it was the first time you were tempted. The idea of forgetting for a second that she wasn't there.

You saw long forgotten friends at the bar. They gave you dirty looks and you remembered you didn’t care. Natasha had marked your insides. How could you care.

Your mind was hazy when you started to dance. Bodies were blurred and unimportant. A stranger touched your shoulder and you felt your heart jolt. Undecided if you should pretend. If you could. 

You felt your phone vibrate in your pocket. 

You stared down at the screen and forgot the world. She was calling. 

She was calling.

You ran from the club.

Heart pounding. On the dark street you picked up the call. You were shivering already, bare limbs exposed in a lace tank top and high waisted shorts.

There was silence on the other end. 

Breathlessly, you whispered. ‘Hello?’

‘Where are you?’ She snapped coldly.

Tears came to your eyes. She was there. You glanced at the nearest street signs, reading them obediently. 

‘I’ve missed you.’ You whispered as she hung up. 

You sat on the edge of the sidewalk, light rain coating your trembling skin. Your high heels were filthy. You were scared she was going to leave again when she saw you. You should have dressed better. You couldn’t do anything right.

The hum of an engine caught your attention. You recognized the number plate.

You stepped into the road.

The car screeched to a halt. The driver’s door swung open and Natasha stepped out. She was wearing a red dress. Her hair was tied back in a tight ponytail. Her eyes were savage. 

‘Get in.’ She snarled.

You ran obediently to the other side, swallowing the happy feeling that she might kill you tonight. 

Inside the car, the smell of Natasha filled your mind again. You couldn’t look at her. Some instinct telling you not to dare.

You kept your head tilted down and looked at your lap. Silence filled the space between you. At last, the engine started again and Natasha drove you away.

Tears slipped onto your cheeks. She was so close, but you’d messed it all up before. You began to cry, body convulsing with desperately quietened sobs. 

‘Y/N.’ She warned you in a low voice. 

You loved her so much and you couldn’t stop.

‘I’m sorry.’ You whispered, watching the hot tears drip onto your legs.

The car stopped abruptly and you looked up for the first time. She’d taken you back to your house. 

Desperation kicked in. She couldn’t leave you again. 

At last, you looked at Natasha. 

Her eyes were stormy now. 

‘Please.’ You begged again. Unable to do anything but plead and obey. 

Indecision crossed Natasha’s face. You couldn’t bear it. 

‘I just want to be yours.’ You tried quietly. ‘Please, just let me be yours.’

Natasha left the car. 

Your heart rabbited in your chest as you scrambled to follow her. 

She walked back to your house and you followed. Mindless until she took your hand.

She led you to your bedroom. You shut the door behind you. Your skin crawled with anticipation.

Natasha pressed your chest, pushing you back until your legs caught on the window seat. You felt the cold glass press into your back. You’d sat here a thousand times, waiting for Natasha to come. 

Natasha looked at you like you were already naked. She was breathing shallowly, her teeth glinting in the dark room. You tried to touch her side, needy at your core. Your hand touched her skin and you heard yourself whine. You were needy. You needed her. You needed her now. 

Natasha pulled your tank top over your head, and your arms moved obediently upwards like a rag doll. Your heart thudded harder. 

Natasha paused, bringing the lace fabric to her face and breathing it in. She closed her eyes. You watched in silent desperation. 

Eyes half hooded, she moved your hand back to her body. You felt the sharp zipper of her dress and tugged it gently.

Her dress pooled like water on the floor. Soft moonlight cascaded over her naked body. You wanted to die for her.

Natasha’s breathing was still shallow. So was yours. You touched her shoulders. She was real. She was here.

Natasha touched the wetness between your legs as she removed the last of your clothes. Her hand was rough and you curled your face against her shoulder.

You never wanted her to stop. You wanted this forever.

Fury lit the room for a brief moment. She looked unearthly in the charcoal shades of the room.

You slid to your knees and Natasha’s face turned to shameless greed.

When she let go. You looked up at her. Her eyes were hypnotic.

You wiped your cheek absentmindedly. It was no use. You could already feel it trickling down your neck.

Unwavering, Natasha's stare followed the slow trickle.
