“And that’s exactly why you should at least stop by the medical wing, Dad!” if roles were reversed, she wouldn’t go to the med bay either—not a chance, and deep down, Scarlett knew her dad probably wouldn’t either. They were pretty similar, after all. Still, he might surprise her. And it would make her feel a lot better if he took her advice. "are you sure that's all?"

Okay so I want to tell you that you are always one of the first people to reach out for me when I'm having a rough time. You are genuinely caring and considerate. Half the time you're reassuring me that everything's going to work out or that situations were unfairly stacked against me and it's really nice to hear its not me. You are one of the first to reach out always. It's like you're waiting to approach and you always come at the moment you're needed most. It's very appreciated. I want you to know its not taken for granted.

You have been my friend for a few years now. I think we've remained in contact over the years and it's honestly wonderful because you are always reaching out with suggestions to help the situation, things to make it better. You're generally always trying to help and that's so appreciated.

There was a bruise on his chin to accompany a split lip and, thought it was hidden under his suit, Sterling was clearly harboring a bruise to his middle as well. There was no concealing the occasional hitch in his step as he favored his right side.
