🌿➳ Huntress was usually very good at not allowing herself to become startled, she also had incredibly times reflexes, and that, sometimes, would interfere with her flinching reaction. When the vampire came out so suddenly with a shriek, the half-dryad jumped back like a cat, and landed into a crouch as if she were ready to spring forth and pounce on any would-be attacker.
Arrows telekinetically hovering above her and ready to strike, eerie green eyes landed on Marshal Lee emerging from the bushes, the Ice King’s bizarre version of the vampire queen she knew. The cryromancer had a weird perception and characterization of the residents of Ooo, so she had no idea how this half-demon would act towards her. So instead of sassing him for sneaking up on her, she said nothing, staring him down, waiting for him to say something. ➳🍃
