Vamps can eat human food, but it's not nutritional in any way, and if anything, they can really get sick from it. However, this rule doesn't work for when they're in bat form because that's when they're literally 'normal animals' and they eat what their species is supposed to eat, therefore, yes, Pelle eats fruits. Varg likes to hold him in a soft towel and feed him grapes or small slices of banana.

Their vital source of nutrition is blood and they need to drink blood in order to stay strong and not suffer a painful and slow death. Not only that, but they can transform into their ghoul form ONLY when they're saturated with blood/ at the highest peak.

He's a full-on vampire in the story. He's born within an old and prestigious blood line.

You don't actually turn into a vampire if you're bitten by one, but in some sort of zombie that they use for feeding themselves.

Pure vampires are those whose both parents are both vampires. While half-vampires are those whose one parent is vampire and the other is human.

Those who are half-vamps can't transform into that big creature form or the small, cute bat. They can only feed to assure their immortality and that's it.

Vampelle lived in Sweden most of his life. He's the first son (and most powerful offspring) of his parents. He's been around for a long time, and he saw a lot of disastrous events in history take place right before his eyes. He saw war, hunger, pandemics, etc, and the more tragedies he witnessed, the more drawn to death he became. It's because death was something untangle and unreachable. He saw angst, tension, cheating, and fallouts within his household. He saw every friend that he tried to make dying while his life went on. Every chance he had to connect with someone turned out to be a dead-end, so, in time, he learned that 'nothing is here to stay'. His depression got worse and worse with time, but then the world turned modern and he finally found himself in heavy metal.

He's part of the Vampire Legion that includes: Ihsahn, Samoth, Abbath, Demonaz and many more, but he never quite got integrated. Mostly because he was against consuming blood anymore. That's because he's s******l and because he's also the first humanitarian vampire in history.
