This was a small excerpt related to that story about Valarr and the Dornish reader that I sent you yesterday, and I also wanted to share it with you :) :
She hummed softly while gently stroking Valarr's dark hair, and without him seeing, she would occasionally give a small smile as her fingers brushed against the platinum strand that lay lost amidst the brown curls. So beautiful, so... peculiar.
Valarr, for his part, felt soft, he felt at peace. Lying on the soft sheets with his head resting between his wife's soft breasts, feeling her treat him with such affection, was like a balm after such a tiring day at court. Besides the sweet caresses, there was also the best part: her soft voice singing softly in ancient Rhoynar, just for his ears to hear. Valarr didn't understand a single word she was saying, but nothing in this world, not inheritances, not names, or thrones, could make him feel more blessed or special.
"What does this mean?" He murmured quietly as he caressed her bare waist with his fingertips.
"What does what mean?" She gave that enchanting smile that made his mind spin in circles and then almost collapse.
"The song you sing." He sighed, his eyes lost in her soft lips. "It's a melody as beautiful as you, wife."
An even sweeter smile appeared on her lips at that compliment, and for a second, she felt she would float under the soft touch of her prince.
"It tells the story of a woman." She murmured, caressing the hair at the nape of her husband's neck and looking into his eyes. "One day a stranger looked into her eyes with such intensity that it forever shattered her peace of mind."
"The passion between them was instantaneous and so overwhelming that it almost destroyed an entire city." Her eyes sank into Valarr's, so fixed it seemed like a spell. "But she didn't care about any kind of destruction. Because she only wanted to be by his side."
Valarr barely let her finish the story before taking her lips in a deep kiss that made them both sigh, his hands gripping her hips once more as they had been minutes before, unable to spend another second without being completely united with her.
I don't know why it turned out so good, because I wrote this in the middle of my class to avoid falling asleep XD
EEE thank you so much for sharing! I just answered the first one lollll!
It turned out good BECAUSE you wrote it in the middle of class to avoid falling asleep lmaoooo. Sometimes that's when we do our best work (me speaking from experience...)
I love this. It's so cute and sweet and soft. I love little scenes where characters cuddle and one character shares their culture or their stories or just speaks, and the other one watches them absolutely enamoured.
Gonna say this again, I def think you should write this fic! It's such a good idea and clearly you are passionate about! I would love to read it so if you do decide to write it and post it, plssss tag me!
