Also, he’s doing the Oscar mannerism of putting his hands up in front of him defensively/placatingly

It’s not all the way up in front of his chest, but it’s the same impulse and movement! The little outward gesture afterwards with the gently splayed fingers is also a very Oscar thing, but Oz also does that in v8, so it’s really just the hands-up move that I’m kicking myself for not recognizing as a slightly muted version of Oscar’s.
