The Rose
I feel so sad about She's In The Rain being taken down. I am a Shawol myself, even a Jonghyun stan, and i love Jonghyun and respect him but i think this whole issue became such a big deal. The song is about being there for someone who is experiencing loneliness or even depression. The song is about seeing right through their smiles, seeing right through their eyes, seeing what they really are dealing with. I know everyone is still sensitive with what happened to Jonghyun, we all are. Shawol or not. But alot of people are dealing with depression and The Rose is actually the first band i know that called it out. That through She's in the Rain, people will find comfort. Through that song, they are telling people that there are people who is with them. That there are people who understands what they are going through and wont leave them. The bridge even goes like this;
"She's in the Rain. You wanna hurt yourself, I'll stay with you. You wanna make yourself go through the pain. It's better to be held than holding on. We're in the Rain."
The song started with just a person dealing with depression and they dont have anyone to lean on. But the song ended with them having someone to trust, to rely on, and have help get through it. The Rose did a great job with comforting people through the song. Its just so unfortunate that they had to go through this issue and have people hate them for making such a beautiful masterpiece.
