My absolute favorite underrated trope is 'surprise murder/assassin siblings'. I've only ever seen this done in Hitman: Agent 47 with 47 and Katya and in Utopia with Jessica Hyde and Arby.
I guess I like it so much bc these people are like really messed up and have no stability or a good family and they're like "I'm an emotionless killing machine" but then, surprise, they have a sibling who's just like them in that sense. So now they have someone who can empathize and they have a bit more stability now too.
It's way better than 'the two murderers get together in the end'. It's just much more wholesome and more satisfying and subverts your expectations.

Utopia (2020). Amazing. Wild. Bizarre. Another show im watching with my sister. It's on Amazon Prime. We really recommend this comedy, conspiracy thriller show. We were hooked. A group of people who are obsessed with a graphic novel named 'Utopia', are forced with a task of saving the world after they discover that Utopia is actually real. There is another show of the same name and plot that was from 2013. I haven't seen that one, I'm hoping that this version gets a second season. I need more. Love the cast. I'd name all of them because each one is perfect for their roles. However shoutout to Sasha Lane, John Cusack and especially Christopher Denham. If you have watched it let me know. I could gush more about the show but then I'd be spoiling it. There is some gore, some (torture) scenes were hard to watch but overall, like I said. Love this show.
Ah we started watching this show and it’s good (to us) despite what critics say.
Poorly timed as a dark comedy revolving around pandemics? Yeah maybe. A good conspiracy theory drama that mirrors Dan Brown’s book Inferno? Hell yeah.

So I randomly watched Amazon’s Utopia yesterday not knowing anything about it and finished the whole series in one sitting I am so obsessed with it as soon as it was done I bought a Jessica Hyde stay alive shirt I PRAY there will be a season 2 and more people talking about it
