This is already a sweet interaction, but Smith actually never said this in the original since this is a remake, which means that 47 made it up. It's something that he wanted to hear from Smith. He's projecting his own desire.. which is to meet Smith again "under more favorable circumstances".

Of course a remake wouldn't have the exact same dialogue as the original. However, Smith didn't have a reason to say this to someone he just met. (He also asked him "Who are you?" at the beginning.) This is why it stands out. In reality, 47 has met Smith many times by now and his mind conjured up the last part.
