Uta Plotkin Joins Blackwitch Pudding For Fiendish New EP!
The ancient conjurers of sound have returned to melt hearts and explode minds! Blackwitch Pudding today announce through Doomed & Stoned their new 10" EP, 'Betty Kougar/Herman the Worm Man' (2016) and reveal for the first time the album art, the product of Darren Saint Darren (with David Paul Seymour designing the logo). Recorded, mixed and mastered by Adam Pike at Toadhouse Studios in Portland Oregon, this new release - which will receive it's streaming debut via our friend JJ at The Obelisk - marks the wizard's third self-produced release, following their covers EP and debut LP (both of which we adore).
They're not returning alone, either. The big news that makes this an even more of an exciting release to talk about is that the new EP will mark the return of Uta Plotkin (of Witch Mountain fame) to the heavy scene.

"The time has come for another offering from the psychedelic wizards of Blackwitch Pudding! After the passing of many moons, it was decided that more wizards make a better pudding, so they have decided to collaborate with the one and only Soul Wizard. Previously masquerading as a mere mortal human by the name of Uta Plotkin, Soul Wizard has established her reputation with Witch Mountain and Aranya as one of the mightiest voices in the Pacific Northwest. Now, with no false pretenses to hide behind, Soul Wizard is free to claim her identity as the one true bringer of soul, the mother and maker of rock and roll.
"This two song release is a double-sided dildo of ear penetrating delight! The 10" vinyl release has no A side, no B side just solid fucking gold. Betty Kougar/Herman the Worm Man are just a taste of the new Blackwitch Pudding sound. Uta Plotkin left Witch Mountain. I’m sad that she is no longer a part of one of my favorite bands, but I’m also incredibly excited to watch her progress as a musician.
