"Grim Omen is a Raw Black Metal band from Northern California. Formed originally in 2016 by their vocalist Oryan, at that time they recorded a demo and performed a handful of shows around Northern California. In 2017, Grim Omen went on hiatus while Oryan grappled with homelessness and mental illness. These were dark times, and highly dangerous, as most nights were spent in the alleyways of Oakland, San Francisco, and Sacramento. And experiencing true threat to his life on several occasions. Now, having overcome these challenges Grim Omen is back with a demo release coming later this year. With a new lineup being formed and a return to live shows coming."
