Classic Farina ;) Enjoy!!!
What a massive treat we have for this week's URB podcast entry -- it comes from the almighty venerable legend Ian Pooley. The Berlin-based producer has been making unforgettable tunes since the mid-'90s and has been building upon his brilliant discography ("Roller Skate Disco" and "Chord Memory" just to name a couple) all the way to a re-emergence of one of his techno aliases from almost 20 years back. Returning as Silvershower, Pooley flexes muscles we haven't heard of since his 1996 release on Richie Hawtin's Plus-8 label; and it's like he never lost a step. Released on his very own techno imprint, Montage in January; Pooley unleashes his Silvershower material through a bevy of tough-grooving night-riding brilliance. He delivers a stellar mix under the guise of Silvershower to show off how he views techno in his ever-changing world. No tracklist needed; check out the mix and ride it out till the sun comes shining.
"Enjoy an exclusive mix from House stalwart Mark Farina via URB.com" Stoked to see one of the Maggs Bruchez cuts, "Anytime," included in this mix!

This week's podcast comes from Starfoxxx, a most exuberant alias of David Beltran. Coming fresh off his "Baby I'm Off Drugs And I'm Ready To Marry You" LP on Donky Pitch; Beltran provides a similar sonic tapestry in this mix that is on par with the journey in his album -- one that's filled with an aura of vivid exploration, bright and boisterous rhythms and most importantly, aural euphoria. In short, it's something that'll make you nod your head and smile simultaneously. Tracklist down below, vibes up above. Our first foray into our podcast series for 2015 is a hearty heap of dancefloor treachery, courtesy of Columbus-based producer Interferon. A relative newcomer, the producer has found his footing by incorporating elements of Berlin, Birmingham and Stateside influences within his own brand of pensive techno turbulence. Fresh off his stellar "Arc EP" off Druid Cloak's Apothecary Compositions (which featured heavyweight remixes from Paul Birken and URB-favorite Manni Dee), we're excited to see what paths he'll take in 2015. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy our first of many stellar mixes to our podcast series. Tracklist down below: 1. Effy - Move (Troy Gunner Remix)[infinite machine] 2. Clouds - Blood Skating [turbo] 3. Lag - Trema [mord] 4. Ansome - Penny & Pound [mord] 5. Oliver Rosemann - Ridge [green fetish] 6. JoeFarr - Rampart [power vacuum] 7. Our second entry in this week's podcast series comes from the Bulgarian twosome 1000names; who've been busy being all-chameleon-like in the past few years. The duo have released albums for the likes of the venerable Black Acre and Project Mooncircle labels, all while never sticking to one specific sound in any way. The duo meld whatever's clever -- genres that exist between their two minds at the moment. It's with that thought process that we jumped at the chance to have them contribute a stellar addition to our podcast series, and in so, providing the last one of 2014. We'll be off the next week or so, back on the first week of January with a bevy of audio treats for you guys. Until then, tracklist down below. Enjoy to your heart's content.
