you laid on the bed as nate tried to decipher his brothers secret message through the postcards. you sighed, getting up and wrapping your arms around his waist and kissing his bare shoulder.

“nate, baby, take a break.”

he rubbed his face with his hands before they traveled up into his brown curls,”yeah, okay, fine.”

he made his way over to the bed, you following in pursuit before climbing onto it. he pulled you into his chest as you felt his hands snake under your shirt, tracing circles onto your back softly.

“see, isn’t this relaxing?”

“for now.” he teased and you playfully rolled your eyes at him. he leaned down and pressed a kiss to your temple, his eyes closing as he laid back into the pillows.

“i’ll wake you up in a couple hours so you can finish, okay?”

he nodded softly, pulling you closer as he wrapped his arms around you,”mm..”

you giggled to yourself, reaching up to brush away the stray curl dangling over his forehead. he let out a groan as you raked your fingers through his hair.

“feel good?”

“mhm.” he hummed with a lazy smile on his face.

“i love you.”

“i love you, too.” he smiled softly. you turned your attention to your phone and once he stopped tracing circles, you knew he was asleep.
