That’s up for interpretation. IF he ends up with a crush on Keith, it will be something he’s grown into and learned to accept -- a fact about himself he’ll have to mature enough to see. Again, I could be wrong. The fact that this is a mlm pairing is the only thing that gets in the way of the evidence. But Korra showed no interest in women before Asami, so, y’know, the idea isn’t unrealistic.

It will not be Pidge. Yes, in fiction, 17 year olds and 15 year olds have ended up together, but these two will not. They have not had a single serious one-on-one interaction together to build their friendship from comedic to something deeper. We are coming to the midpoint of the show; if they were going to end up in a relationship, we would have seen the hints at this point, like with Ka/llura, or Hu/nay, or All/urance, or...you get the idea.

On this same topic, Pidge is drawn physically smaller and more cherubic than the other characters. Back in July 2016, before the age reveal, I took this to mean she was simply short (I’m 4′10 myself). But now that we know she’s the youngest, it’s clear from her design that we’re supposed to think of her as more of a child than the other characters, which therefore makes it strange for her to end up in a romantic relationship with any of them. This is a children’s show, and children aren’t able to tell that “it’s only a two-year age difference”. They’ll see a small person, like them, with a big person, like a grown-up. I’ve been showing Voltron to a little eight-year-old girl I babysit, and she thinks she and Pidge are the same age, while everyone else is super old.

Just taking a quick scroll through your blog, I can see you dislike the very idea of Keith/Lance, as well as more focus on Lance than strictly necessary. You also seem to have this idea that Lauren Montgomery shares your views. Unfortunately for you, this is not the case.

She’s been very open and accepting towards this pairing, more than any other ship. Yes, I’m sure it’s frustrating for people to keep asking the same questions, but I don’t think she necessarily blames the fans. LGBT content will be something spoilery, so she obviously can’t talk about it -- that’s what bothers her. Whether or not it’s Lance is irrelevant. Whether or not the fandom focuses too much on Lance is also irrelevant. The discussion at hand is that he will have a romantic relationship, and using all the evidence in my reach, it appears, to me, that it’s pointing to Keith.
