i honestly wish tumblr was run more like ao3, with donation drives once or twice a year and leaving us alone the rest of the time, making changes every once in a while that we’ve specifically ASKED FOR. they’d probably make more money that way if they got rid of all the bs ai mobile game ads and just kept the servers up and running. this place would actually run smoothly if whoever owned it knew anything about their own user base. but nope, instead we’re stuck with a for-profit company that’s so desperate to become the new twitter instead of taking advantage of the things that make tumblr different from everywhere else
