Theo’s pointer finger brushes up against Liam’s and that’s the moment they lose eye contact. Liam couldn’t stop himself from looking down. Is this even real? Yep, there it was. Theo’s finger wrapped around his own.

“Oh,” Liam swallows the large lump in his throat.

“Look,” he hears Theo say, “there’s no way of not being forward about this, so do you wanna dance?”

Liam doesn’t know what to say. Nobody’s ever asked him to dance before. Does he even know how to dance? It’s like every time he’s around Theo, his head gets all jumbled.
