Like I teased, I've got 4 "main" series I'm working/brainstorming right now. 1 is in the writing phase, 2 are in brainstorm phase and 1 I've posted 1 part and am brainstorming the rest.
Picking a favorite is hard. I see so much potential with all of them!
The Soldier Boy x reader one I'm looking forward to since I can't wait to play with the 1950's and modern day aspects of a love story that crosses so many decades, not to mention how they both react to the changes within each other after so many years apart.
The Soldier Boy x daughter reader one I think will be fun to explore dad!Soldier Boy with all his profanity and violence and translating how does he soften with a child he wants but can't admit to saying that out loud.
I mean...I'd be crazy NOT to write more about this man, right? Those shirtless gifs need a good home! 😂 The Colter Shaw x reader one I've got a good nervous feeling about. There's so little Colter x reader stuff out there that I know this will be niche but I got this idea watching the show about 2 months back and it keeps popping up for me. This one will bring show vibes and a morally gray reader. Colter comes across as a boy scout sometimes but this season they've been leaning into his scarier edge a bit more. I plan to utilize that and see just how this...unique couple will play out.
*swoon* My favorite though (and it does get an unfair advantage of being the only one that's really written) has to be Primal. My favorite problem child as you know so well. 😂
I've been a little vague on the plot but think Big Sky season 3 on steroids with some wonderful ABO dynamics and a dash of some new ABO rules like in the Feral series. Primal is something I came up with for this series will be a new state that Alphas can be in. Think dangerous, unhinged, violent, and very bad to be around if you're an omega. It's twisty and turny. There's a serial killer on the loose and reader appears to be the next target but she's not exactly...normal. This one's got layers upon layers and you're going to be questioning who you can trust. This story has the traditional romance element but there's a much bigger mystery/action element too than I usually do.
I've also been playing with the fact this series does A LOT of POV switches. It feels almost more like a show or movie in that sense as I try to have us track the action more closely. Reader, Beau and an OC all get their time to shine through these POV's. There's also a HEAVY OC element (don't worry, y'all will love his grumpy ass), the biggest potty mouths you've seen, mommy & daddy issues, mental health rep, omegas to the rescue, easter eggs for any The Rookie fans out there, and a pretty legitimate badass reader that Beau adores. Writing this one has been a struggle but I know in the end it'll be one of my favorites I've ever done! I can't wait to share this with everyone!
