Facebook's Dark Posts Can be Created via Page Composer
Facebook page admins can now create dark posts directly via Facebook's page composer.
Dark posts, or unpublished posts, do not appear on a user's News Feed or the page's Timeline. The can be promoted with Facebook ads, though, enabling brands to promote more relevant content without overloading fans' News Feeds.
In order to create these posts with the platform's page composer, the admin must click on the clock icon for scheduling posts. When choosing the year, the option to "hide from News Feed" appears.Â
