Jack playing Subnautica talking about it “feeling like home” really hit something today.
I found Jack through early access Subnautica. This game has been a huge part of my life (which might be why the Sea Emperor is tattooed on my entire leg). There’s something about spending hours exploring a seemingly infinite alien world during your darkest times. Watching Jack play and explore right beside you is something that you just can’t explain to people that do not watch Let’s Players.
Being back in the Subnautica world with Jack absolutely feels like home. It brings me back to a nostalgic time of early access and not knowing what new creature or biome you will find next. It’s warm, and it’s familiar, and it’s home.
I hope new watchers fall in love with this game and go back to watch the series from the beginning. Because it will always hold a special place in my heart- and it’s a journey I will absolutely never forget.
