AU idea for:
Pokemon (Legends Z-A, specifically the DLC)
Ansha is your daughter AU (edit: male pov)
You/the Player Character, are the exact same Person/the Player Character from the original XY games/events.
You've been to many regions and have constantly become their League Champion but never stay for very long, always on the move to your next adventure and inevitably advocating your position.
You've been a trainer for most of your life and have been feeling nostalgic, so you start retracing your past steps. Your first trip down memory lane was re-visiting Sinnoh and your time there was Brilliant, right up until you got sucked into the past via a Space-Time Distortion that formed around you and dropped you out of the sky. Luckily Dialga brought you back to modern day to deal with someone stepping on their turf (F-ing with time) in Paldea.
But now you want to give nostalgia a second shot and revisit Kalos, where "Z-A happens", and after a while you run into the most adorable child you've ever met.
A child who quickly befriends you and your newest friend group. You think it's weird that a kid is running around Lumiose City without adult supervision, especially with all the new wild zones...but she has a Legendary with her so you figure that if her parents consider that safe enough, who are you to judge, you ain't her dad.
At least, that's what you think...right up until she mentions her mother's name, Diantha...and then "nostalgia" reminds you of five years ago.
Five years ago, when you dethroned, the then Champion, Diantha, and she, so excited to be relieved of such a demanding job, now free to delicate more time to her true passion of acting, spent the single GREATEST weekend of your life with you. Resulting in a daughter you didn't know about.
Diantha didn't hide this from you, she just couldn't find you...but now that you know you have a daughter...what are you going to do about it?
Are you going to step off? Or are you going to step up?
