First sketches on first idea.Â
Sandy area to walk around in with rocks, mountains/hills and grass. Abandoned ship somewhere in that area. You can go into the ship where you find a room with some stuff in it humans have used. The ambience can be a bit scary. Play with lights to give that scary feel.Â
First try outs on making a 3D space in Unity. I added a sand material on a plane that the person in VR will walk around on. It is a reference to the South Aral Sea.
