ooc. Oh, I like that! It’s always been hard to pin down Ruby’s bending type. Jane to me feels more like an earth bender based on her combat style -- aka more barelling into things than using your opponent’s momentum against them -- but that doesn’t mean I’ve reached a decision yet. Tell me your thoughts!

‘And who may you be? I do not believe we’ve been properly introduced.’

It’s the only word that the assassin utters as he catches a breath, nose crinkling at the other’s scent. He had no love for changelings or their kin - and it would seem the female is the target of Angor’s ire this time.

“It was a little bent up when I found it, but I think I’ve managed to fix it back alright...”

“It is not unheard of to be turned inside out when you are too close to the spell’s core, and there is no way to ensure you would not be ripped to pieces otherwise. You should not press upon your luck as such.”

“What? No --” She was only half-managing to speak, unable to quite make sense of things. Polly’s face grew pale as she looked from the person to to  -- the things -- in front of her. Hulking, scaled beasts that only vaguely resembled anything she knew. “No -- no this must be a mistake, I --” She was the most ordinary thing around town, and had no business being around whatever those were. “What?”

     “What’s going on in here?!”
