Hello. I am seeking advice of anyone with enough experience to help me with my hair situation! I just tried to go from bleach blonde (had it for about a year, done at home, pretty light, but wasn't perfectly even) to a "Dark Intense Auburn Red" purchased from Sally's Beauty Supply. Supposed to leave in for 25 min. Was going to go longer, but didn't due to seeming to be losing some hair. It came out terribly uneven. Still has some pinkish blonde, varying shades of brown. How can I fix this?
Hello! It could be that your base was very uneven, or even if it didnt look it, if your hair was over processed in some parts, then it won’t hold colour, and that would explain the pink/blonde sections. Its worth asking a hair dresser to fix it, or using a vegetable dye to cover if you can, as these tend to be more even. Use a protein filler before you try dying again so that your over processed sections can be filled out/strengthened a little.
