THE THREE WINNERS OF ALLIANCE QUIZ 2017 By Dewi Puspita Sari Surabaya - Friday, November 3rd, 2017 English department had the biggest event in this month called English Week XXII which was opened in Auditorium, Faculty of Languages and Arts, UNESA. This event had several competitions and one of them was Allience Quiz. This event started at 07.00 a.m. - 16.00 p.m. Allience Quiz had three parts of elimination. The First elimination which held in class in T8 building, also for semifinal and final held in seminar room in T4 building. This competition followed by many participants from senior high school students in East Java. Allience Quiz was very interesting, because the participants needed to answer several questions quickly. There were 3 teams that continued to the final round. The winners were : 1st : SMAK St. Louis 1 which had score 30 2nd : SMAK St. Louis 1 which had score 26 3rd : SMA Gloria which had score 24 According to Beatrice, one of the winner, the questions were not too easy neither too difficult . "For the semifinal and final round it's more like the competition of pushing the bell, because we have to push the bell before the questions are shown and we just have 5 seconds to think the answer" said Beatrice.
