My goodness that hair fought me. The upside-down soul is fitting here. There's all 6 plus Frisk done! Yep, surely I didn't leave anyone out, right? The low integrity doesn't necessarily mean dishonesty. Yellow is careful with who gets what information, and will gladly keep secrets if it prevents needless panic or tragedy. She became a bit 'mysterious' as a result. A calculated storm.

Last reference! Green, Green, I had so much trouble drawing you before, but you're much easier now! Even if everyone thought you were a girl... -His torso is more oval/ tear-drop shaped than everyone else's. -He has two curls of hair on top, on the side, and on the front of his head. For everything in the back- go nuts. -I draw him with 8 freckles beneath his eyes and on his nose. -He blushes almost constantly. He's the palest as well as the tallest. -His nose is a wider version of Purple's. -He wears overalls underneath the apron and one of the straps is broken and hangs over his arm. (I may change his clothes later) -Basically if he looks awkward, you drew him correctly. He's my friend IRL's favorite- which I appreciate because he hasn't done much at all... yet.

She's probably the easiest for me to draw (Girls in general, really). She's really grown a lot, huh? -Her design at the start of the comic had 2 locks of hair in front of her face that formed an 'X'. Now, the back of her ponytail forms that 'X'. -I tend to make her eyes bigger than everyone else's. Green's too. -She's the same height as Orange (excluding his hair). -She's got the same small nose as Purple. -Her hair has a lot of loose bits like Yellow, but Cyan's hair is less wavy. -Some short bits of hair couldn't be put in a ponytail- they help the design stand out a bit. A simple design not unlike many other patience souls, but small details, expressions, and personality go a long way. Hopefully I'll have Green's reference ready for next weekend. A few people were asking for references for the TSWFBY kids- so I figured I'd start with the hardest one to draw! I'm always trying to improve, so this is more of a general guide rather than a strict set of rules to follow. : ) Things to keep track of with Orange: -His hair is the most finicky part about him- generally it goes up into almost a point. His sideburns reach down to his shoulders. You might think of it as a sort of combination of Kirishima and Bakugo from My Hero Academia. -He has the pointiest nose, and the bushiest eyebrows of all the kids. -His chin is pointy, and not a circle like some of the other kids. -He has a small bit of muscle on his arms. -There is an 'X' pattern on the outer-side of his shoes. -If it weren't for his hair, he and Cyan would be the same hight. Digital drawing in general: -For lighting, I usually have two multiply layers, an overlay layer, and a dodge layer all around half opacity. The colors shown above are one that I commonly use, but I switch them up depending on the setting and mood. I set all these to clip over the folder that holds the character line art and colors. -I also put the faces on different layers so I can get them juuuust right without erasing the rest of the line art.
