ok very loose concept but: x-men broadway show where Mystique has a specific leitmotif that very faintly underlines the leitmotif of whoever shes shifted into. also Warren, Remy, and Logan having the dies irae incorporated into their leitmotifs Sweeney Todd style. Pheonix's time as Jean but her leitmotif changes just slightly to indicate Thats Not Jean. same with anyone Brood-infected. Charles and Erik having the same leitmotif but one is in major and one is in minor, and a scene of their original betrayal/breakup/unfrending has the music split into different chords as they get further from eachother. just. i need x-men leitmotifs and how they change.
