hot? take: headcannoning tor!foxy as trans just because of how defensive he is when called a woman is kinda weird and counterproductive. I understand seeing parts of your own experience in him but as a character i believe it to be more of him clinging to his masculinity however he can after he was changed from a pirate to a ‘softy’ (i swear he describes it that way. at some point he says ‘they made me soft’)
There’s also the fact that the misgendering is kind of more a case of literal mistaken identity, not anything malicious (except maybe freddy)
