Sometimes you just get too excited, okay? 😔

I don’t know what to think about this new Naruto chapter. Once again we’re being thrown a curve ball of misdirection and potential plot-twists. Saruda is asking her “mother“ some really awkward questions about her father (Sasuke) and about their relationship... whether or not they are even married. Sasuke hasn’t even been back to the village in how many years to visit his daughter and wife and to top it all off... the whole “Saruda looks like Karin“ discussion has just been given some legitimacy. So... Did Sasuke and Karin get together and Saruda is the product of this relationship? Did Karin die and Sasuke left Saruda with Sakura? To make things even more awkward... why are there no photos of Sakura and Sasuke together? No wedding pics? Just a pic of Sasuke with Taka obscured by the frame? This whole thing is screwy... and with the abundance of Sakura character assassination, I sense a LOT more on the horizon.
