Thinking about merging my love for Uma Musume and Twst which results in me thinking about Uma!yuu
I would already have some ideas how silly this concept would be (*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)
- I’d imagine the possibility that Uma!yuu would go on morning runs/jogs with Jack Howl
- Would be able to catch up to Ace, Grim and Ruggie with ease in their chase scenes and Grim using them as a means of transportation
- Uma!yuu would definitely completed the training that Coach Vargas made the first years go through with no issues
- On the topic of Coach Vargas, I would like to think that Uma!yuu views him as some kind of trainer and would possibly ask him for training regimes and would have some kind of uncle relationship :D (this guy needs more fans 😔)
- DEFINITELY Joins the Track and Field club since its the closest thing Uma!yuu has to running races and absolutely dominates (considering a Uma can go about 70 km) But would get slightly miffed/surprised by the rules and regulations of how the races go in Twisted Wonderland and would take some time for them to adjust
- I forgot if NRC has some kind if gym but I HC that Savanaclaw does have one and Uma!yuu would often use it and students would be flabbergasted with how much weights Uma!yuu would be lifting or how fast they’re going on a treadmill
- During the Pomefiore Arc, Uma!yuu possibly volunteers to preform with the VDC crew (since Umas also had to be idols) and would have the advantage of quickly memorizing the dance due to Uma!yuu needed to memorize a ton of choreographies LOL

In the prologue I’ve already thought of something that i could possibly add more to:
“1.. 2…!”
The burning coffin’s door bursts open as Yuu falls out with a resounding clink on the marble floor groaning disoriented at the impact. His hair reflects brightly with the blue flame’s light when he lifts his head to look at their current surroundings and their current wardrobe muttering something about the moon and ‘lunarians’ as the creature responsible for the fire stares at him with slight awe but in mostly bewilderment.
”Wha—!! You ain’t supposed to be awake yet!!!”
The gem looked and saw… a fluffy gray creature, without any survival instincts, he let out a sound of adoration and before the gray creature could react, they let out a yelp when Yuu suddenly scooped them up in his arms and vigorously rubbed his cheek on the top of their head.
”O-Oi!! Let me go—!!”
“What are you? You’re so fluffy and cute! But not as fluffy as those lunarian dogs…”
“THE GREAT GRIM IS NOT CUTE—!”
He continued cuddling Grim who was desperately trying to get away to no avail, even his flames had no effect on the lustrous except his new robes.

Now for the Books, I may also have some Ideas that can help with the development of Hnk!yuu (Also I dont know much about book 5 to 7 because i only started playing since last year and twst was an on-and-off interest…apolocheese…):
Prologue:
- The beginning, this chapter is where ofc everything is introduced. Yuu could be a curious lil guy, asking questions about most things such as magic, electricity or ghosts. On the other hand he could be the most tense person you’ll ever see looking at everything as if it was going to kill them and will deck anyone who makes even a minuscule of a wrong move using anything next to them as a weapon (im so sorry ace/j)
- when chasing grim, he couldn’t run properly cause of the crowd of students and would laugh but be concerned at ace getting crushed by the cauldron
- This chapter can be the first introduction to Yuu’s fighting capabilities (assuming they’re a gem with 9+ hardness) with the dwarf’s mine arc along with how much attention they would garner from being, well, a literal walking, talking, sentient gem (Pomefiore is calling, pick up yuu…)
- which leads me to thinking if Yuu would try and harvest other gemstones after the dwarf’s mine event or even attempt to use a Magistone as a replacement limb…
- Perhaps Yuu gets chipped in the process of fighting the Overblot in the Dwarf’s mine and asks crowley if the school has a resin of some sort which would result in them meeting professor Crewel who would be concerned on how they could properly repair Yuu if they were to loose a part of themselves (foreshadowing/hj)
- small idea but what if Yuu asks grim to describe the food he’s eating cause he can’t really taste food properly
- on the topic of food, Maybe Yuu could possibly drop a bit of lore in regards to the fact they don’t need it to survive, rather they only eat it for some kind of sensory pleasure and mainly need sunlight (Ace is bound to make a photosynthesis joke somehow…) and i’d hc him to be fond of how ‘soft’ and ‘fragile’ humans are, making it a habit of squishing and pinching the Adeuce duo and Grim along with patting their heads from time to time out of affection along with learning a surface level of what mortality is!!!
Book 1: Heartslabyu
- Now this is where I believe we get into the skin of Yuu’s development giggled
- Ever since learning the surface level of Mortality, aka the fact that the people they love around them can cease to exist, they became somewhat more protective of their new companions. They may not see it right away, but Yuu is almost constantly hovering close to them (Such as the carbonara accident and Deuce with the eggs)
- When it comes for the chestnut harvesting scenario, Yuu would not find the thorns as bothersome as their human companions but would fetch the gloves needed since they would not want their friends to get hurt further
- when confronted with Leona he’ll probably make a comment on how he doesn’t have a lick of scent on them along with how much his hair is blinding him
- Yuu in this AU would definitely be confused (as always) with the rules and imo would accidentally ragebait Riddle with their genuine questions and reasons on why some rules are bull
- during the Overblot Yuu would showcase more of his agility abilities from doing parkour on the bushes/any sort of solid surface along with his quick thinking, but in the end sustain minor cracks and breaks (like a hand or feet breaking off) potentially scaring Cater, trey and maybe even Riddle. This is, again, due to him learning the concept of mortality in humans which can open a discussion on how memories are stored in his body and if a part of him is gone, a memory will follow depending on how much was lost because when asked about something Yuu hesitated before fully admitting they don’t remember/recall
- the aftermath is the Adeuce duo and Grim making sure that they got every part of yuu to fix him back together
Book 2: Savanaclaw
- this is where some drama can potentially occur *rubs hands*
- small hc that Crewel gave Yuu a small enough tin filled with the resin incase he needs to repair himself + a powder to hide the cracks
- At the start of the investigation Yuu is quick on his feet almost completing all the interviews a minute earlier than the usual timeline
- When running after Ruggie he was thankful that the hallways weren’t as packed as it was when he was chasing grim and so he made a straight beeline for Ruggie only getting slowed from time to time by the ledges they had to jump over
- Now for the overblot of mr leona, Yuu would absolutely be terrified by his UM like ‘what do you mean I cant put myself back together cause my hand is a pile of sand?’
- now In attempt to save Ruggie they only got his wrist was caught by leona due to the impulsiveness of his action and as soon as he saw sand forming, tries to break off that part until Jack’s UM grabs both him and ruggie. Bonus is that that Leona’s UM was not affecting Yuu anymore! Bad news? He got not fuckin hand as he watched it turned to shiny specks of dust in the palm of Leona’s hand
- in this book i highkey want a scenario where Yuu lost a leg but is now a pointed shape and asks Deuce to recreate the chandelier incident except he’s throwing him instead of Ace at an OB leona, and Yuu uses that broken leg to crack the glass of Leona’s OB like that would be so awesome
- by the end Leona or his brother (if he were to find out about the overblot) would gift Yuu a new hand after a few days, it might not be the same gem or have any memories, but its almost has the same hardness level as the original one

“NRC stumbled a bit on the second Leg while RSA is still going strong continuing in the lead!!”
Crowds cheer and yell as the sun glares into the track onto the runners. This was the first ‘serious’ relay race (With how much coach Vargas had hyped it up to be) Uma! Yuu had ever done. Her heart raced as she could feel the anticipation of being given the baton and going all out on the last leg, when she was first introduced to this type of sport it seemed like something they’d do with their peers during Summer Camp training to past time.
This year, NRC had their longest winning streak for the past month due to Uma! Yuu with some of their losses being due to injuries she had sustained during training which resulted in her getting benched. Although it took a few weeks for her to get comfortable with the track, to perfect their starting position along with the passing of the baton, it resulted into her becoming the top runner in the team.
When Uma! Yuu came to Twisted wonderland, she was in shock at the fact that there were no races such as the Arima Kinen or Oka Sho along with the fact that there were no titles such as ‘Triple Crown winner’! But she made the compromise to join NRC’s Track and Field with her friends, Deuce and Jack, in order to feel that adrenaline rush of a race she had experience back in her world when she entered graded races.
“NRC is close to taking fourth place, RSA Is still in the lead!!!”
Her leg’s tensed as she watched Jack run as fast as he could since this was the fourth exchange, in her head she counted the meters left before it was her turn. Seconds seem to drag on as RSA had already started their last exchange. But as soon as Jack reached Uma! Yuu, the outcome of this competition was sealed.
…
‘Another easy win once again for RSA..!!’ The runner thought to themselves as they made it around the curve of the track, heart beating fast, legs straining themselves to go faster, fatigue dripping slowly. ‘Another trophy to add to the shelf!!’
As the end was close by at least 9 meters—
FWOOOSH~~
“Huh..?!?!”
A blur of black and purple sped past the poor runner, everything slowed down as they realized…
‘This is the star player in NRC’s Team?! No way—!’
RSA’s last runner sped up as much as possible but it could never cover the distance being set by Uma! Yuu as their legs began to buckle under the pressure.
“NRC’s Star player bursts through!! They’ve gone past RSA and takes the lead!! The distance is incredible…!!”
The commentators were in awe by how quickly Uma! Yuu covered what seemed to be an impossible distance!
5 meters… 3 meters…1 meter…
“NRC takes the win followed by RSA AND….!!!”
The commentators voice faded as cacophony of cheers and applause rang through the crowd when she reached the finish line. She stood tall facing the stands as she heavily breathed in and out, legs sore, heart thrumming loudly, deep inhale Uma! Yuu let out a loud scream as a bright smile decorated her sweaty face soon enough her team ran towards her and celebrated their first win against RSA.

(Uma musume, they are born to run. They inherit otherworldly names, with histories both tragic and wonderful. Now they run ever forward. That is their destiny…)
It was a regular training session in NRC’s Track and Field club. Stretches, 6 to 12 mile runs (with 10 to 15 miles for Uma!yuu, a personal choice), cooldowns, and repeat until club time is over. Currently, the club is already packing up and finishing their sets.
”Hey Yuu, you mentioned before running longer miles back in your world, how long were they?” Deuce tosses a chilled water bottle at them as he wipes the back of his neck with his towel, Jack’s ear twitches with curiosity listening to the exchange as he continues on with his cooldown stretches. It was the first meeting of the club when Uma!yuu was first introduced to the sport and the races that it covered, Uma!yuu was somewhat taken aback with how long these races were but kept in mind that they were running with other people who didn’t share the same capabilities as they did.
“Ah, well… the longest race I’ve done has to be the spring Tenno Sho which was about 3,200 meters” Deuce yelps astonished by their answer while Jack furrows his eyebrows in disbelief mid-stretch. “W-what!? No way! That’s like, ten times longer than how much we run!” Uma!yuu let out a shy giggle brushing it off as something they could always do without breaking a sweat. “If you could run fast enough to cover that sort of distance, it would be more appropriate for you to join running races rather than relay.” Jack commented while grabbing a bottle from Deuce who nodded agreeing with Jack “Yea! You would be able to cover all sorts of races, maybe even becoming famous with that speed!” Deuce gave a bright and encouraging smile at Uma!yuu who gave a playful frown in response, crossed their arms in a playfully pensive manner. “Well it wouldn’t be as fun as running with two of my best friends now would it? Besides, I run because I can, not because I want to be known” Uma!yuu waves the two off as they walk back to the lockers to change.
‘Famous huh?’ They wonder to themselves.

“—This is one of the few smaller but major races that we’ve been to and will be competing again in 10 weeks, so I’ll be upping the ante on our training again!!!” The team groaned and whined in protest as Coach Vargas made them trained harder, of course Uma!yuu found this exhilarating training much more and going much further that what they would usually do, it came to the point where in Coach Vargas had to come in a stop them from overdoing it at times.
“How do you run so much Yuu? I’m already beat after doing 6 laps…” Jack asked as he panted trying to catch his breath after another run “Confidence? I know that I can definitely beat 3,200 miles, then this race will be nothing too bad so you guys can depend on me to bring home the bread” They gave a smug smile wiping the dripping sweat off their forehead. It was already 4 days before the competition and the pressure was on the runners, especially Uma!yuu considering they were made to be the last leg of the race and the fact they discovered that they had a fanbase that named them ‘the rising track star of NRC’ thanks to Cater.
Although they fully know they can easily dominate their team and possibly most of NRC’s student body, there was always this nagging feeling of the fear of not being quite enough to reach that finishing line. “I guess rest also counts as a factor on how I can run so much” As Uma!yuu took a step to walk to the coolers, they winced as a familiar sensation of pins and needles spiked through their ankle and calf, their eyes widened in panic.
How? They were so careful with each step they took, they rested well and always did their cooldown stretches right. Was the track uneven? Did they do something outside of training? How—?
“Hey Yuu, you good?” A voice snapped their racing mind as a hand was placed on her shoulder. Jack furrowed his eyebrows again but with concern lacing his expression, towel around his neck, a bottle in the other hand, his ears ever so slightly tilting downwards. “Y-yea, sorry did you ask something?” Uma!yuu took the bottle offered and chugged it down as Jack shook his head “No, you just seemed out of it for a moment” “Thanks for the concern then, I’ll treat you and Deuce to a first-class lunch one day~!” “T-Theres no need for that!”

“The crowd is quite lively today with the racers all revved to earn the crown!!”
The sun shined brightly but not too much, cool winds blew through the track as runners from different schools lightly warmed up and got into their starting posts. As soon as the race starts the heaviness of anticipation looms over everyone, the sound of shoes hitting the ground and the laboured breaths of whoever ran before the next player heard only for a second before they take off with the baton.
“Here it is folks, the last leg is almost here!! Will NRC’s star player give us their one of a kind performance?—“
‘Faster…’ Uma!yuu though as they watched their teammate run with all they can. ‘Faster…’ their heart raced and legs tensed and stomach turned when they watched the other team finally was already running the last leg. ‘Now!’ As soon as the baton reached Uma!yuu’s hand, they gripped onto it tightly and ran.
They ran, ran as fast as they could, their team depended on them, their fans, Jack and Deuce, Coach Vargas. All of them were a witness to Uma!yuu’s full potential. ‘More…! I can go faster…!’ They stepped harder going past the other team, it was all going so well. But before they could even make it to the 10 meter mark…
CRACK
‘Huh— wait. No way. No…’
“NRC’s star comes through— wait, it seems like something’s wrong!!”
The crowd burst into a cacophony of worried and confused questions as they noticed Uma!yuu's form started to falter to the point where it seemed like they were almost tripping. But they continued to keep the lead. Coach Vargas could see it, hell the team could, all of them equally had worried and concerned expressions.
’C’mon a bit more…! I’m supposed to be faster no matter what…!!!’
They gritted their teeth through the pain as they felt themselves get more fatigued
4 meters, one of the opposing teams was closing in
2 meters, both of them side by side
1 meter…
“NRC barely takes the win!! Although injured, they managed to make it through!”
Vargas, accompanied by a few teammates, ran towards them as they fell onto the ground on their back. The medical team was there when they managed to get Uma!yuu to stand on one foot, even when the crowd applauded for their performance, they wondered if the sacrifice was even worth it.

I decided to take my Uma pills today and write some silly imagines i have with the different umas, I used a wheel to decide who do i write (not proof read) ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪
Meijro Dober!Yuu Who… was very anxious and standoffish when she first emerged from the coffin into NRC, she had her hopes up when she noticed Vil mistaking him for a girl, it will take her a long time before she gets fully comfortable with Ace and Deuce (Probably opening up by the end of the Heartslabyul book) but even then will remain somewhat nervous around most of the main cast. She would definitely be most comfortable around Pomefiore dorm due to how ‘feminine’ the dorm is and would more open to Vil and possibly Epel
Meijiro Bright!Yuu Who…is often seen with Riddle drinking tea, both of them had agreed to create a schedule on whose turn it was to brew the tea alternating between the two, her warm and aloof personality being a breath of fresh air for the Queen of Hearts. The tea time between these two is usually dedicated to Riddle tutoring her on the newest lesson taught due to her being a little slow at the start because of her carefree pacing or simple thoughtful discussions.
Transcend!Yuu Who… is always raising her hand and asking questions in her classes even after classes when time permits, she is also seen in the library reading books centered around magic and the different cultures in Twisted wonderland along with going to Cater and asking him about the latest trends and topics in magicam and going with him to visit trending cafes. She is also seen around Ignihyde bothering the introverted students who would ramble on about the latest tech and codes to the information seeking uma.
Sakura Chiyono O!Yuu Who… Is seen enthusiastically writing down her ‘Chiyonotes’ almost everyday ever since she came into Twisted wonderland and always fangirling to Grim about Maruzensky. She would also be seen gifting her friends homemade Japanese sweets that she managed to make in her free time as a simple token of appreciation, her room would also be the neatest room in ramshackle compared to the other areas that she had cleaned up
Sweep Tosho!Yuu Who…Is absolutely vibrating and bouncing off the walls at the fact that she entered a world where magic and witches are real but would whine and cry on and on about the fact that that she is unable to wield this magic and would be seen constantly trying and failing to do magic no matter how many times she studies about it insisting that she is able to use it. She is also seen as the spoiled younger sibling of NRC with Trey and Jack being able to tolerate her stubborn personality and constant whining, yet this is balanced by the fact she is able to pass most of the test and exams with high scores even if she says she doesn’t want to take it
Satono Diamond!Yuu Who… doesn’t mention her wealthy background yet is still shown due to her personality, although gentle and genuinely honest her slight innocence to certain things shows that she was sheltered to some degree, possibly a pattern familiar and noticed by Ruggie or Jamil. Would find time to make tofu for her friends, although was asked for the recipe multiple times by those who managed to get a taste of it was the only secret that nobody could ever discover about her.
Duramente!Yuu Who… is an overwhelming menacing beast when it comes to PE class or any physical related activities as she treats it like a competition only that her competition is herself due to her classmates being very much slower than her, she would also be seen waking up at the earliest time just as the sun is beginning to rise to exercise. This would also result in her getting scolded for pushing herself too far and straining her ankles too much, the scolding can either come from her friends or Coach Vargas himself.
Copano Rickey!Yuu Who… Introduces the concept of Feng Shui into Twisted Wonderland as she cleans the daylights out of Ramshackle due to the place being abandoned for so long and the dorm would end up looking like a minimalist mansion, she would also be seen cleaning up her friend’s dorm room and would need to be held back from rearranging the furniture. She would also give her friends her lucky advice of the day and when it works other students would come to ask for her advice and it may even extend to magicam as she thrives to make people happy! Perhaps some fishy dorm would attempt to try and capitalize on her advice for the day…
Twin Turbo!Yuu Who… runs into challenges with full force with zero regards to the limits of her abilities, her hardworking yet immature personality paired with her high energy would concern her friends as she would always hit her limits like a brick wall often attempting to warn or advising her to try not to push herself too much in which she would disregard any of these words due to her selfish desire to keep on running as fast as she can! During the mandatory club picking, she was torn between the Film Appreciation club or Track and Field due to her amazing skills in video editing clashing with, again, her desire to keep running.
Mr. C.B!Yuu Who… often visits the track made for Equestrian Club activities running around the track until she wanted to stop, she usually visits at random times racing with the horses for fun and it came to the point where Riddle had created a schedule of when she is able to run on the track and join them in their activities, not only does she run on the track but around the campus as well. Whenever someone attempts to stop her or go against her opinions her carefree personality would get overshadowed by her stubbornness and she would go against their wishes, not only that but after spending enough time with her, her friends would notice how clumsy she could possibly be behind that flawless aura.

I can imagine uma!yuu easily catching Ruggie when they were confronting him. Also you think if uma!yuu never goes back to their world they would just become a famous track runner or become a trainer for aspiring track runners too? Or maybe become the new coach in NRC idk >_<

YEAS! My personal hc or imagine is that Uma!yuu would definitely catch the eye of a lot, and I mean a lot, of schools/teams (cough cough RSA cough) who would want her on their team due to how easily she dominates the track! She would definitely win a crap ton of trophies and medals, but I would also feel that yes she would gain a lot of fans aspiring to be like her trying to replicate her running styles and exercise regimes and of course haters saying that she cheated somehow in each race she participates in (in which her friends fiercely defend her honor). But would definitely have her name in twst sports history :D
As for her becoming a trainer, I would see that she would become one after she retires from running. I wanna say that Uncle Coach Vargas would encourage Uma!yuu to try and be the new head coach mainly for the track and field team in NRC or at least his assistant (something like Benlo Light) when it comes to watching over students in gym classes and would create easier training regimes so that the students can keep up a bit (^_−)−☆
Which made me think of a silly scenario where Uma!yuu forgets that people dont eat as much as she does and pulls a Hishi Akebono getting a big scoop of food for one person LMAO (do you think the ghost chefs let out a sigh every time they see Uma!yuu come back to get more food HAHAHAH)

I might actually attempt cook up just a small drabble-ish(?) thing again, cause this ask activated some special neurons in my brain mmmm…
After watching some of Laika Studio’s films like Caroline and Kubo (which are ABSOLUTE CINEMA) at a reasonable time, it got me scritching my head
What if Yuu/Mc acted more animated/stop motion when they came straight outta the coffin? Like in their pov they themselves moving pretty normally
But to the cast, their movements and facial expressions are choppy and somewhat exaggerated in even the most mundane things they do such as walking (their hair bouncing up and down with the smallest of steps) or even talking (their hands moving cartoonishly as they try to explain something)
Perhaps as more time passes their movement becomes smoother and more realistic to show how far Yuu/Mc has stayed in this world
(maybe even for a bonus feature, Yuu seems to be made of a different material something more 3D-ish ykyk)
Little twst yuu idea I think would be really silly is that Yuu is an astronaut and somehow got isekaied into twst while in space (don’t ask me how…idk either…) and they their gear changed into the ceremonial robes but their gravity is different
They’re body acts as if it’s in zero gravity which can result in some silly moments LOL
Imagine if they have to tie weights onto their feet just so they can stay on the ground or always have some string on their waist attached to someone so that they don’t fly away, insert the Adeuce duo trying to bring them back down cause one of them forgot to watch over yuu 😭
Imagine if they run they’re just really bouncy and they could just slingshot themselves at whoever they’re chasing
