I’d like to try for these two cuties!!! And, since their fin colors match, I imagine that they’re siblings!!! I imagine that the green Uminu is a girl, and I’ll name her ✨💚🧡🩷GUAVA🩷🧡💚✨ and I imagine that the pink Uminu is a boy, and I’ll name him ✨🩷🧡💙JAVA💙🧡🩷✨(after Java Apples!!!) They have matching tail bracelets!!!

For the rest, I’ll tell a story!!!

Corey had heard an odd noise in the woods. It sounded like two critters were chasing each other near the lake. She decided to go and investigate. She was about to go fishing anyway!

As she approached the clearing, she heard a splash and some playful yipping. She knew from the sound that it must’ve come from at least one Uminu!

When she finally reached the lake, Corey’s thoughts were confirmed: there were two Uminus chasing each other in and out of the water. She approached the lakeside, gaining the attention of the two. The pair of Uminu siblings stared at her with a playful curiosity.

“Hi! You guys like playing chase?”

The two Uminus nodded happily.

“You wanna chase me back to the ranch?”

The two wagged their tails and nodded profusely.

“Alrighty then! Let’s go!”

Corey began to run back through the clearing and on the path to the ranch, her new Uminu friends following closely behind her. The chase continued until she reached the ranch’s main gates, and the Uminus followed her inside.

“Wasn’t that fun?”

The pair nodded once more.

“Good! Now that you two are here, you’ll have plenty of other critters to chase! But first, you need names! How about…” Corey looked at the female Uminu first, taking notice of her green and pink scales… “Guava for you, and…” Corey then looked at the male, taking notice of his peachy pink scales, reminding her of a certain type of apple… “Java for you! How does that sound?”

Guava and Java let out happy yips in response. They loved their new names!!! The newly named pair of Uminu’s then took off in search of their next playmate.

Corey had made two new friends!!!

Well this was new. Corey’s many Uminus were swimming around in the freshwater pool that Calypso had built in for her more aquatic creatures, and there was one that Corey had never seen before; a blue and purple female with cool grey fins sitting at the edge of the pool, seemingly weighing her options, as the environment was unfamiliar to her. Was she lost?

Corey carefully went up to the confused Uminu, trying not to scare her.

“Hey little buddy, are you lost?”

The Uminu suddenly turned around, not really startled, just a little confused. As she stared up at Corey, she smiled and let out a happy yip, but, as the Uminu stared at the pool where the other Uminus were playing again, she became anxious.

“Oh. You wanna go swimming? Don’t worry! The others are super friendly! I’m sure they’d like you! But first, I think you need a name! How about Blueberry?”

Blueberry let out a happy yip in response and proceeded to dive into the pool. The other Uminus were shocked at first, but warmed up to Blueberry rather quickly.

Corey had once again found a new friend!!!

It was another hot day on the beach but today something was different. A group of strangers had arrived and the young Uminu wasn't too sure about it. There were three of them. One was long, grey-blue, and always napping. The second one was cat like with a very fluffy mane and was either grooming the first one or talking to much.

She tended to veer away from them but one day when she was playing with a purpleish shell she found she hear a voice.

"I was unaware Uminu lived around here."

It was the biggest one. She didn't seem hostile but the young Uminu still was cautious and backed up. The stranger seemed to understand and sat down and calmly looked around.

"From what I know pups your age usually stick together in floats like otters, don't you? Where's your float young one?"

She didn't know many words in this language but there was one word all pups her age knew no matter the language. Float. Her float was gone. She had been ripped away from them in a harsh storm and stranded here with a hurt tail. Once she recovered she searched for them but it was useless and she eventually gave up. She let out a small, sad whine.

"I am Nami Amiral. If you have no caretaker I will tend to you as long as needed small one." She said gently.

The Uminu didn't understand her but felt safer already and when the stranger offered a ripe mango she happily accepted. A few days later and she had been given the name Sandy and found a new float.

AHHHHH THE STORY IS SO CUTE!!! 🥰
