Random backstory cause I'm bored-
Quieting Down
Kishima once was a very talkative boy. He talked all the time to his friends and family. But one day he got bad news about his best friend, Kutsuri. His family escorted him to a hospital, which puzzled him as to why they were there. Was Kutsuri visiting a relative or something? When he got to the hospital room, his heart sank to the bottom of his stomach. He felt his breath stay in his throat as his eyes watered. He ran over to Kutsuri, who was hooked up to some weird wire things Kishima knew nothing about. All he could care about was his friend. "K-Kutsuri..." He mustered out those words. Kutsuri smiled at him weakly, "I'm sorry... I should have told you a bit sooner..." "K-Kutsuri... no! Y-You're not dying..." Kishima tried not to let him die so soon. Kutsuri handed him something... an umbrella, "It's too late now... take this to remember me by..." Kishima didn't know what to say. All he could do was take the umbrella and wait till the little heartbeat machine flat-lined. And it did... but not before Kutsuri grabbed Kishima's hand and squeezed it tightly in his, Kishima squeezing back. Later it started to rain while Kishima was walking home. He stopped in front of a bus stop and took out the umbrella Kutsuri had given him. He stared at the sky, smiling at it with tears in his eyes. "The beautiful rain... only means you're still here..." He wiped some of his tears away, "I'll never speak again if it means I'll think of you..." And so he did. Years on years he never spoke. Soon enough he was glued to that spot long after he died. He became the ghost of the rain... he'd appear in that spot and shelter people who pass by.
