My name is Isaac Smith, Founder of the Queer Pride Africa Initiative, a grassroots group supporting LGBTQ+ refugees in East Africa. I am reaching out to kindly ask for your support for our upcoming Queer Pride Africa Initiative event taking place on 30th August.

This event is a chance for LGBTQ+ refugees to come together in safety, celebrate their identity, and find hope and belonging despite the many challenges they face. Many community members continue to struggle with discrimination, lack of food, limited resources, and unsafe living conditions.

We are seeking support to help make this event possible, including assistance with basic needs, event arrangements, and creating a safe space for our community. Any support you can offer whether financial assistance, sharing our message, or connecting us with others who may help would mean a lot.
