Billowing steam as the train Tornado starts up and pulls out of Victoria. What a treat to see this lady depart. I stood with a few enthusiasts and a man next to me told me that it's actually a replica built in Germany in 2008 and goes on jollies throughout the year. This journey was to be through the Surrey Hills. How lovely. Inside I could see white tablecloths and glimpses of people sat behind curtains. The man told me it costs £100 a ticket and you can find a full timetable on uksteam.info. I asked him had he been on the train himself and he said unfortunately he hadn't had a chance yet.
