I've been having a lot of fun with a new programming language called Uiua. Here's an implementation of Conway's Game of Life that I wrote, and its output.
N is a function that computes the number of neighbors of every cell. L applies the rules of the Game of Life to every cell. U upscales the grid so that the cells are easier to see. The last two lines set up a 120x120 grid, seed it with a random distribution of live cells, and apply 200 steps of the Game of Life to it. The steps are automatically converted into frames of an animated GIF by the language.
