i love daniil dankovsky as a vampire. hes a prey animal. hes literally a pray animal and forcing him to be a predator will break something integral to him. he is a healer and a humanitarian. he is hurt over and over by people stronger and with more authority than him. he was always faking something confident in him, he was always pretending to be more violent than him and he was always trying to *be* a predator in the sense. but he is a twitching little rabbit in the corner squeaking and saying its a growl. he will never have big sharp teeth and big long claws no matter how much he fakes it. now make him a bloodthirsty *thing*, make murder something necessary to his survival. call his bluff. make him kill, make him use those big sharp teeth and those big long claws he always pretended to have. he has them now, so he should use them
