Creative Writing group sonnet that I just love!
You lied when you promised to never leave,
You're quite the deceiver, I'll give you that.
You broke my heart and left me to grieve,
It took me quite some time to pick up the slack.
The words you fed my lips were poisonous,
I drank wholeheartedly without regret.
Never again will I be so careless,
Your lips and taste, I wish I could forget.
Currently, I am plotting my revenge.
You should sleep with one eye open tonight.
My great integrity, I must avenge,
Don't worry sir, I will still be polite.
Also said for the lover beside you,
For tonight dear, I am not feeling blue.
