I just got a call from the place I worked last summer probably wanting to know if I want to come back and I don't really but a job is job and I got a lot of hours there until I was laid off

#I'm worried I won't find another job though #my mom said say yes and then if something else comes along tell them I can't work but I can't do that because I'd feel too bad #ughghgugh #basic I have to say yes though cause I need a job for money #ignore this #There's a few jobs I applied to that I actually want cause they relate to my field of study but idk if I'm gonna get it

Ikr? The first and last time I tried to buy something from them while in highschool, it was a sweater with dog ears or whatever. My mom actually got it for me for christmas. I was so freak excited to have that thing, and she got it for me and I was like just so happy. She got it in my size (which is at the time was a medium), but then when I tried it on, it was nowhere near my size? It was way too small. We did a comparison, and it was a freaking extra small by other brand standards. I cried. A lot. :T I’m pretty sure it was the first time that I had ever felt bad about my body image. (WHich of course just continued and got worst and now I am just like lowest of the low and it took forever for me to be able to wear oversized shirts and jeans..) ...

But I continue to stare at their website, hoping that one day they’ll convert to real sizes, and not children sizes? not only for us that are a 5x by their standards, but for those people who are small in everything but their sizes? It hurts MY self-esteem, but I imagine it probably hurts theirs as well. But at least they can still buy stuff from that dumb store.
