*whew* okay ... I got all the dust off now ... let’s get back to business ...
A few months ago, a little hand roll place called Temakira, sprouted up on UCI campus, where your hero (the food ronin) is a mild-mannered student.
There are actually 3 locations in or around Irvine, though this one is conveniently located at the student center here.
I like the layout actually, and also their very simple, and trendy looking hand roll icon. There isn’t very much space, but what it lacks in space, it makes up for coziness and convenience.
Their hand rolls look great, and taste very refreshing.
They are also very reasonably priced. They also have a simple direction, but a good mix of hand rolls and items on their menu.
Though their service is a little slow, and has room for improvement. I’ve been there a few times, and aside from occasionally taking a long time to get my order out, I have even been forgotten before. I will chalk this up to them taking some time to settle in, though time will tell. I will be looking to visit again soon.
