hey we can talk about how Allison’s immense trauma was largely ignored by her siblings in s3 and talk about potential flaws in writing without immediately demonizing a Black character for acting violent or selfish.  Allison is an incredibly well-written and acted character functioning in a narrative, and fictional people act out and cause conflict.  if they didn’t, we would not be consuming any story at all.  I’m by no means saying that we shouldn’t be frustrated and angry with the character for her actions (we are obviously not intended to condone her every choice), but the magnitude and intensity of hatred from fans this season is incredibly disproportionate to how people reacted to her white brothers killing and being shitty across the span of the whole show.  think critically about how season 3 is part of a fictional narrative written purposefully, and examine why you hate a female Black character but feel empathy towards her white peers
